Bespoke Furniture & Interiors · London
Each piece is designed and made by hand in our South East London workshop — for those who understand that the finest things are felt before they are seen.

We design and make singular objects for spaces that demand more than the ordinary.
Sterox Studio occupies the rare space between fine furniture-making and architectural design. Every commission begins with listening — to the client, the space, and the materials. What emerges is always specific, always considered, and always built to outlast fashion.

The Craft
At Sterox Studio, the work that cannot be seen is held to the same standard as the work that can. The interior of a drawer, the profile of a foot, the junction between two materials at a corner — these are the decisions that separate furniture from craft, and craft from art.

Founder & Designer
The Studio
Sterox Studio was founded by Romuald Stefanski — an award-winning designer and cabinetmaker whose practice spans three decades at the highest level of the craft.
The studio operates from a purpose-built workshop in south-east London, where every commission is designed, prototyped and made on-site.
How We Work
Every project begins with a conversation — about the space, the brief, the client's way of living. We listen before we draw.
We develop a design proposal: drawings, material samples, and where appropriate, a scale model. The design process is collaborative.
Production takes place entirely in our London workshop. We document the making process and welcome studio visits at any stage.
We handle delivery and installation personally. Each piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and material specification.
Begin a Commission
Whether you have a rough idea or detailed drawings, just get in touch. All enquiries are handled personally by Romuald Stefanski, usually within 24 hours.
